- Now age 83, too much history to write here. Born in Vancouver BC. Lived there, other places in BC, Montreal, Cleveland, Toronto, elsewhere in Ontario. Genetic inheritance, Basilicata in south Italy, and Boston via the Mayflower. Educated and graduated as a Chemical Engineer at UBC. Left that corporate world 30 years ago. Now I work every day in my writing, much of which turns into poetry that I push out into the world, over 1000 poems in 24 books so far. For the past 25 years I have met every two weeks with a group of 11 men to do some drumming, simple rituals of our place on the earth , and sharing joys and sorrows of our lives. I often write of the beauties of natural life and friendships and my upsets with how our humanity is aimed at eroding habitat for all of life on the planet. Yet I have moved from feeling threatened or in charge of other's beliefs and actions to seeing that I am not in charge of any but my own, whose source I’d best get to know. Now working to publish ebooks of my poetry and pictures. I love the young people, and the older in my life. I love my life as I follow my path I've learned to recognize.
